Christmas Gift Giving the Nerd Way: Nerdy Tech
by Bryan Scheidler

Technology to a nerd is one of the most personal things in the world. Are you a mac or a PC? Xbox One or PS4? Laptop or Tablet? Android or iPhone? Tech is not a one size fits all kind of gift and it can often be expensive so it isn't really the time to try experimenting. That being said here are the categories or things you should be looking at if you are thinking of buying some new tech for yourself or your nerd this Christmas.

1. Portable Computing Device

HP Chromebook 14 Inch Laptop (NVIDIA Tegra K1, 4 GB, 32 GB SSD, Snow White)

2. Streaming Media Box
AppleTV vs. Roku vs. Amazon FireTV vs. Chrome Cast

Amazon Fire TV

4. Smart Watch
AppleWatch vs. Pebble vs. Samsung Galaxy Gear Fit vs. Motorola Moto 360

Motorola Moto 360 - Black Leather Smart Watch

5. the DxO iPhone Camera
This is the only thing on my list that needs some explanation. For the most part I am only listing categories since like I said above, tech is a very personal decision. This however is amazing and a must for any iPhone users out there that want to shoot lots of video and pictures. Not only is it an amazing camera it allows for the use of micro SD cards for unlimited storage!
