Warren Littlefield will moderate the Beverly Hilton panel on December 14, 2015

LOS ANGELES, CA, November 09, 2015 –The Hollywood Radio and Television Society (HRTS), the entertainment industry's premier information and networking forum, will convene creative forces Dick Wolf and Chuck Lorre for a powerful conversation on creating some of television’s most successful, iconic and long-running programming. As part of HRTS’ annual Newsmaker Luncheon series, “Building A Kingdom, Then and Now…A Conversation with Dick Wolf and Chuck Lorre” will be moderated by former NBC Entertainment president Warren Littlefield (Executive Producer, Fargo) on Monday, December 14, 2015 at The Beverly Hilton (9876 Wilshire Blvd., Beverly Hills, CA). The announcement was made today by newly elected HRTS President Eric Schrier, President, Original Programming, FX Networks and FX Productions, and HRTS Executive Director Dave Ferrara.

“Chuck Lorre and Dick Wolf are legendary producers still at the height of their game, continuing to build on decades of success with some of the best shows on television,” Schrier said. “They’ve seen the industry change in radical ways and yet never lost their touch for creating iconic series. We are honored to present this rare opportunity to learn from two of TV’s greatest creators.”

Two-time Emmy-winning and Grammy-winning producer, and New York Times best-selling author Dick Wolf is the architect of one of the most successful brands in the history of television – Law & Order.  He serves as creator and executive producer of all of the Law & Order - branded series from Wolf Films and Universal Television, including Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Wolf has extended his branding expertise with three NBC series: Chicago Fire and Chicago PD and Chicago Med. Under Wolf’s new non-fiction arm, Wolf Reality, he serves as Executive Producer of the critically-acclaimed TNT reality series Cold Justice, currently in its third season, and its spinoff, Cold Justice Sex Crimes also for TNT. His other projects include Nightwatch for A&E and Showtime’s 3 A.M

Chuck Lorre is Co-Creator/Executive Producer of blockbuster comedy The Big Bang Theory, as well as the critically acclaimed comedy Mom. He is the Executive Producer of the hit sitcom Mike & Molly, and he previously co-created/executive produced the hit comedy Two and a Half Men, which ran for 12 seasons and was one of TV's longest-running comedies. Before that, Lorre created hits such asCybillDharma & Greg and Grace Under Fire, and he also served as co-executive producer on Roseanne. He began writing animation scripts for DIC and Marvel Productions, as well as writing and producing the themes and scores for several animated series, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. A spec primetime script soon led to freelance work on the syndicated comedy Charles in Charge and, eventually, to a staff job on My Two Dads. Lorre was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2009 and was inducted into the Television Academy Hall of Fame in 2012.
